For the 2018 holiday season Cedar Fair added Winterfest to Kings Dominion in Virginia. For this iteration of the project we really aimed to perfect our most eye-catching products. We completely re-designed the “crystal ball” strand we had used in previous years, creating a set of 48 strands almost 300′ long for a total of over 12,500 pixels, which were draped over the centerpiece Eiffel Tower replica in the park. We also decided to manufacture a majority of the wireframes in-house in order to ensure quality and longevity of the products delivered. For this project I was primarily involved in conceptualization and managing the manufacture of our custom products.
