Starting in 2016 I have been working on Winterfest installations for Cedar Fair at several of their parks throughout the United States. The first park to receive this winter-wonderland upgrade for the 2016 season was California’s Great America, a project that I acted as assistant designer and primary drafter, and later participated in the installation itself in the fall months. In 2017, the Winterfest project expanded to three more Cedar Fair parks, Carowinds in the Carolinas, Kings Island in Ohio, and Worlds of Fun in Missouri. During the first stages of this expanded project, I drafted and designed for all three theme parks, before being joined by James Sidler with similar responsibilities in the spring. Once this round of projects was ready for installation, I was based in Worlds of Fun to manage that park’s Winterfest 2018 installation on behalf of Blue Haze Entertainment.
